Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records across the organization.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop, set, and monitor operating budgets in collaboration with department heads.
  • Provide timely and strategic financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure the organization’s liquidity and financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
  • Oversee accounting operations, financial systems, and internal controls to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Evaluate and manage investments, cost-reduction opportunities, and potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and performance metrics to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with other executives to support long-term business growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and manage business risks, insurance requirements, and capital needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise the finance and accounting teams, providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, financial best practices, and regulatory developments.

Required Skills

Skills and Abilities

  • CPA designation or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience, including leadership in a CFO or senior financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, corporate finance, and financial regulations.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in leading financial operations within a growing organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with financial management and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other executives and departments.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and discretion in managing sensitive information
