Position Summary
At PPi, we strive to create innovative software solutions that improve our clients' businesses. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this goal. You will work closely with our clients, development team and subject matter experts to gather and analyze business requirements. You will then identify opportunities for improvement and translate these insights into actionable recommendations. Requirements
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements.
Develop use cases and user stories.
Work with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Collaborate with Development, Application Support, Information Technology, and Client Success teams to design, create, and deliver solutions.
Assist in the design of new functionality within Care Compass and the Provider Portal.
Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses.
Identify and recommend process improvements.
Develop test plans and participate in quality assurance testing.
Perform consultative Client support for the use and/or configuration of our product, Care Compass.
Understand Client business needs, workflows, and administrative systems to support and/or improve Client’s quality and administrative functions.
Required Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a business analyst working with software development teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Visio.
Experience with requirements documentation tools, such as Jira or Confluence.
Solid experience in writing SQL queries.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design experience is a plus.
Experience working with healthcare systems, particularly insurance plans and claims processing, or in a similarly regulated environment is a plus.
